In 2002 I entered into the exciting new world of selling print and copy online, taking on the role of Sales & E-Commerce manager for a company looking to diversify into online sales. Several years later I was asked to join another fledgling online start-up and so became their Sales Manager. Both companies are now two of the UK's largest E-Commerce print resellers and a force to be reckoned with.
During my combined 12 years at these two companies I watched as the online marketplace matured. Over that time I was saddened to see online service levels drop and great advice become near impossible to obtain.
With margins being squeezed so much due to increased competition, many business owners simply refuse to use up what profits they have to pay for expertise. Worse still, many online stores recommend machines that have the most margin in them rather than the one that best suits the customer. I believe that this is the wrong way to conduct business so I set up Devil Ltd to bring back expertise and honesty to the online marketplace.
